26And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. They shall rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on earth.” 27And God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.     Genesis 1/26-27 Tanakh JPS 1985.

7the Lord God formed man from the dust of the earth. He blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

8The Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and placed there the man whom He had formed.     Genesis 2/7-8 Tanakh JPS 1985.

15The Lord God took the man and placed him in the garden of Eden, to till it and tend it. 16And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you are free to eat; 17but as for the tree of knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat of it; for as soon as you eat of it, you shall die.”     Genesis 2/15-17 Tanakh JPS 1985.

21So the Lord God cast a deep sleep upon the man; and, while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that spot. 22And the Lord God fashioned the rib that He had taken from the man into a woman; and He brought her to the man.     Genesis 2/21-22 Tanakh JPS 1985.

Commentary:

The first host of the L-rd of Hosts in creation was Adam. A man created very much like the angels in heaven.

G-d drew from the elements and materials of the earth (“dust”) and formed the first human being. When the breath of life was given to Adam the first thought in his mind came from G-d and that thought came from G-d who was being Adam for Adam.

“I am Adam” was spoken by G-d as though He was Adam and was perceived by Adam as being his own thoughts and inner voice in order to build a memory for Adam. G-d was not Adam He was being Adam for Adam until Adam was fully formed as a man.

G-d based His being Adam on the mind, soul and spirit of Adam. Who Adam would be if Adam had been born a child and raised in Eden by the voice and power of G-d.

As a host conversing with G-d for Adam was a natural part of his existence. In the beginning the conversation was G-d talking as Adam and as Himself to Adam. The spirit and soul and mind of Adam listening and learning and forming into a functional adult man.

And then G-d created the second human being and the second host. And G-d said “I am Eve” spoken by G-d as though He was Eve and was percieved by Eve as being her own thoughts and inner voice in order to build a memory for Eve. G-d was not Eve He was being Eve for Eve until Eve was fully formed as a functional adult woman.

I also am a host of the L-rd of Hosts and G-d has not just taught me these things He has shown me how He can be me for me. A better me than I could ever be.

It is the only way I could ever be suitable for His purpose which might prosper of Isaiah 53 and as Elijah of Malachi 3. No matter how much anguish I experience from His chastisement, punishment, bruising and crushing to remove my self will and calm my temperament.
